LAUNDRY
It has to be run every single day.
This is so it doesn't sit around in a hamper or closet getting stinky.
This helps to:
*create a routine that makes the laundry feel less annoying
*keep track of uniforms and socks, and all clothing things important and time sensitive
Clean it - Fold it - Put it away
Everyone breaks down in one of these phases. Find a way to get through it, because... spoiler alert: it's never going to end. So just distract yourself while you do it!
Laundry System Ideas:
- Each kid gets a designated day of the week to wash all the things.
- Themed days - Whites on Monday, Darks on Tuesday, etc
Get it into a routine.
Make it something so that it just happens, so that its less of a chore!
CLEANING
When it comes to cleaning - I think of buckets. Mentally compartmentalizing and categorizing these tasks gives me a better mindset about the big picture of cleaning the house.
Types of Cleaning Task "Buckets" DAILY - WEEKLY - MONTHLY
I have TONS of Cleaning Checklists on the $5 Dinners Blog in partnership with Art of Green.
